Terms and Conditions

1. Scope

This is a courtesy translation. The German version is the legally binding one.

These terms govern the legal relationship between Classical Pilates Berlin GbR and its customers. They form part of the contract that comes into being when you purchase services from Classical Pilates Berlin GbR.

2. Registration & contact

Providing your contact details (name, email, mobile number) is a necessary condition for visiting the studio, for organisational and safety reasons and regardless of how you book. How we process this data is set out in our privacy policy.

3. Services & class levels

Classical Pilates Berlin GbR undertakes to provide the agreed service. This includes instruction in the proper use of the equipment as well as continuous supervision and correction during training.

For their own safety, all first-time visitors begin at Level 0 to become familiar with the equipment. Levels 2 and 3, Contrology and Full Sessions require previous training at this studio.

For safety reasons, first-time visitors cannot take part in an advanced class, even if one was booked by mistake. Your check-in is not forfeited: we will move you manually into a suitable class on another date.

Classical Pilates Berlin GbR reserves the right to assign teachers other than those listed in the schedule where this is necessary to run the class.

A session normally lasts 55 minutes; prevention courses run 55 to 60 minutes.

4. Your contribution

For the sake of your own health, you must disclose all information relevant to training about your state of health before you start.

Changes in your state of health, and in particular any physical complaints arising during training, must be reported immediately, truthfully and in full.

Incorrect or missing information is not at the expense of Classical Pilates Berlin GbR.

5. Care of equipment & clothing

The equipment must be treated with care.

To protect the equipment, sportswear must not have zips, buttons or hard appliqués.

Footwear is not permitted in the areas marked accordingly.

The equipment may only be used under supervision and in accordance with the teacher's instructions.

6. Confidentiality

Classical Pilates Berlin GbR treats all information from and about its customers as confidential.

7. Cancellations

Cancellations must be made as early as possible, and at the latest 24 hours before the session starts. In that case the cost of the session is credited to you.

Cancellations less than 24 hours before the start are charged in full. You are expressly free to show that the actual loss was lower. Alternatively, you may arrange a replacement yourself.

If Classical Pilates Berlin GbR cancels, any session already paid for is credited or refunded.

Workshops and teacher trainings have their own individual cancellation fees, listed with the respective booking on Eversports.

8. Liability

Classical Pilates Berlin GbR is liable without limitation for damage arising from injury to life, body or health caused by a breach of duty, and for other damage caused by intentional or grossly negligent breaches of duty.

Where a material contractual obligation is breached through slight negligence, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical of this type of contract. Otherwise liability for slight negligence is excluded. Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.

Training requires a realistic assessment of your own capabilities. To the extent permitted by law, Classical Pilates Berlin GbR is not liable for damage arising from incorrect information about your state of health.

We recommend insuring yourself against accidents and injury.

To the extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for the loss of valuables.

9. How we treat each other & feedback

Respectful interaction matters to us. If something is not right, we would rather hear it directly, so that we can change it. This request of course does not limit your right to leave a public review.

10. The method & consistency

Pilates is a system that takes time and patience. We recommend training at least five times to experience the effect of the method in your own body.

11. Final provisions

Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remainder of the contract is unaffected.

The language of the contract is German. German law applies.
